Is this going to be Sprint’s first EV-DO cellphone?
Sprint haven’t made any announcements yet about when (or where) precisely they’re going to be launching their own high-speed EV-DO wireless network to compete with the one Verizon Wireless has already been rolling out for a while now.
But if you’re looking for something to read into, the FCC just granted approval to the LX-545, a new slider-style 1.3 megapixel cameraphone that’s compatible with EV-DO and has Sprint’s name all over it.
