Acer introduced the ultra-affordable Aspire One Cloudbook 11 and 14 with Windows 10

Acer has introduced two new online-oriented laptops, the Aspire One Cloudbook 11 and Cloudbook 14. The new laptops comes with a decent set of specifications at an extremely affordable price. They could be a worthy opponent to Google Chromebooks, which have become quite popular among users who rely on online services for their tasks. What’s best about these notebooks is the price tag, both come with sub-$200 price tag which should turn out to be quite attractive for students as well.

As for the specifications, the notebooks feature 11.6 and 14-inch display with a resolution 1366 by 768 pixels, a Intel Celeron N3050 Braswell processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. There’s a microSD card slot for users who are interested in expandable storage. 

Other connectivity features include 802.11ac dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 1 USB 3.0 port, 1 USB 2.0 port, HDMI, headset, and power jacks. On the software side, it comes with Windows 10 as its operating system, alongside 1 year of free subscription for Office 365 Personal. The laptops features a fanless design, is 17.9mm thin, while the 11-inch model is just 1.15kg light and the 14-inch weighing in at only 1.6kg. 

As for pricing and availability, the Aspire One Cloudbook 11 will launch later this month in North America with prices starting at $169, while the Aspire One Cloudbook 14  will launch in the region in September, starting at $199. The notebooks are also set to launch in EMEA region from October with prices starting from €269 and €299 for the Aspire One Cloudbook 11 and Aspire One Cloudbook 14, respectively.
