AdDuplex: Nokia continues dominating the Windows Phone 8 ecosystem

According to new data from AdDuplex, Nokia Lumia 520 is the most popular Windows Phone device as of July 2013. In June of 2013, the Lumia 520 was the fifth most popular Windows Phone device. Windows Phone 8 powered Nokia Lumia’s control 50% of the Windows Phone mobile market as well.

“AdDuplex is the largest cross-promotion network for Windows Phone and Windows 8 apps empowering developers and publishers to promote their apps for free by helping each other. AdDuplex was established in January 2011 in Vilnius, Lithuania. As of June 2013, more than 3,300 apps actively use AdDuplex to gain more visibility,” AdDuplex states, for those curious who they are.

According to data from AdDuplex, Windows Phone 8 powered Nokia Lumia devices account for 50% of the Windows Phone market and the Nokia Lumia 520 is the most popular Windows Phone device as of July 2013. The Lumia 520 may be the most popular right now, but with the recent unveiling of the Lumia 1020, don’t be surprised if the Lumia 520 is dethroned.
