Adobe Reader and Microsoft Remote Desktop Preview for Windows Phone receive new updates

If you happen to be using either the Adobe Reader app or the new Microsoft Remote Desktop Preview app for Windows Phone, you will be happy to note that there are updates available for you in the Windows Phone Store. Both updates offer bug fixes and performance improvements.

“Adobe Reader is the free, trusted leader for reliably viewing and interacting with PDF documents across platforms and devices. Install the free Adobe Reader mobile app to work with PDF documents on your Windows Phone devices. Easily access a wide variety of PDF types, including password-protected documents. Use with Adobe Document Services to convert and export PDF files,” the app description reads.

Adobe Reader was bumped to version 10.4.2.0, while Remote Desktop Preview was bumped to version 8.1.1.19. Both updates offer bug fixes and performance improvements. No official change log was made available, unfortunately.

Update: A change log for the Remote Desktop app has been release. This is what’s new:

  • Pin desktop connections to the Start screen
  • Support for word flow and predictive text
