Ron

This months Patch Tuesday is scheduled to bring us six patches for vulnerabilities in various Microsoft products, including Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 9. Microsoft has rated four of the patches as critical and two of them as important.

The four critical patches are set to address remote code execution vulnerabilities in Windows 7, Internet Explorer Versions 6 through 9, and the .NET framework. The patches also address vulnerabilities in SQL Server, Visual Fox Pro, Visual Basic, and Office 2003 through 2010. The two important patches will address vulnerabilities in Office 2010 and Forefront United Access Gateway. These patches will fix security holes that could allow attackers to remotely compromise PCs and plant malware on the victimized computers.
