Asphalt 8

There’s no shortage of racing games in Windows Phone Store, but Asphalt 8 can easily be regarded as ones available, not just on Windows Phone, but on Android and iOS as well. Not too long ago, the game received a minor update. In addition, CamFish also received an update with a few new features and enhancements.

Recently, Asphalt 8 received an update, bumping it to version 1.0.0.1. There’s no changelog available for the update, but it appears to be a minor one with bug fixes. If you’re not familiar with the title, it’s an action packed racing game with exotic racing locations and an amazing collection of cars to choose from. As you move on with your career, you earn some cash which can be used to upgrade existing vehicles as well as purchase new ones. The game has eight seasons with over 150 events to play in the career mode. Additionally, it features a multiplayer mode as well, giving users the ability to compete against players from other parts of the world.

Secondly, CamFish is yet another camera application for Windows Phone 8 handsets that provides users with advance settings and controls such as ISO, shutter speed, focus, white balance and more. The application received an update lately, and came with several new features on board, including the ability to capture images in landscape mode and capturing images using the camera button on your Windows Phone 8 handset. Here’s the complete changelog for CamFish version 1.1:

  • Landscape capture
  • Zoom
  • Capturing photos using the camera hardware button
  • Lens support
  • Bug fixes

Head over to the Windows Phone Store and download both applications. CamFish is free, but you have to shell out $0.99 for Asphalt 8.
