Atlassian: We’re open to a HipChat app for Windows 10 Mobile, let us know you want it

Following on from yesterday’s announcement that Imgur has discussed a Windows 10 Mobile app, we’ve now received a response from Atlassian, the company behind popular business communication platform, HipChat. According to an Atlassian representative, the company is open to offering a Windows 10 Mobile app to their customers.

Atlassian offers several business management tools aimed at developers and customer support – such as support desk ticket software, issue management, communication tools and Git repository platform, Bitbucket.

Mohammad Syahrul affirmed that they should support Windows 10 Mobile, as the market is not dominated by just iOS and Android in terms of the business market. Mohammad directed us to a public page, where Atlassian is already tracking the possibility of an app for Microsoft’s mobile platform; in fact, just the other day the status changed to ‘Reviewed’, and the next status after that is ‘In progress’. The suggestion has also been handed to their product team for further evaluation.
