If you’re looking for a spare phone, or you want to test the Windows Phone ecosystem, what could be better than the Nokia Lumia 520? It has proved to be the best-selling Windows Phone handset, snagging itself the largest share of the Windows Phone market. It comes at an extremely affordable price tag and, thanks to Amazon, it just became a whole lot more affordable.
For those of you thinking about getting their hands on the device, Amazon is offering the Lumia 520 for the dirt cheap price of $44.99 off-contract. However, there’s a catch here: the deal is only for a few hours, and will expire at 4PM PST, May 14th. So, you have around three hours to order your handset, after which it will revert back to its normal price.
Spec-wise, it comes with entry-level hardware, and rocks a 4-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB storage with microSD card slot, 5MP rear shooter and comes with Windows Phone 8. It’s still tied to AT&T, but this isn’t a major issue as there’s no contract to concern yourself with.
