If you happen to be a regular user of Awesome Lock, Car Dash or Phonly, it’s time to launch the Windows Phone Store as these applications have received updates that bring several enhancements and new features to the respective apps.
We’ve already shared Awesome Lock with you which give users the ability to customize the lock screen on their Windows Phone handsets, and receive the latest news, weather info, currency exchange rates, calendar events, tasks, Facebook notifications, tweets, and more on your lock screen. Recently, the application was updated to version 126.96.36.199 and introduced several new features and improvements, including a redesigned battery, improve language support for Chinese and Hungarian, new application icon, and more. Next up is Car Dash, a dashboard application for your device while you’re on road. The application let users store frequent destinations, important contacts for phone calls, ability to navigate to your WiFi/Bluetooth/Cellular settings easily and much more. The application also got bumped to version 2.2 and comes with support for German language, podcast integration with BringCast and more.
Last in the list is Phonly. Phonly is a simple and easy to use Feedly application that allows users to read their RSS feeds on their Windows Phone 8 handset. The application also give users the ability to pin feeds to their live tiles, along with support for Pocket, Buffer and Instapaper. If you rely on Phonly for your RSS addiction, head over to the Windows Phone Store as the application is updated with a few handy features, including some new settings in page layout, ability to download the complete article without opening it in an external browser and more. Before you download the full article within the application, make sure you’ve enabled the feature from the Reading settings. Anyway, here’s a complete change log for the application:
