Azure big data teams to hold Ask Me Anything session on November 17

Maxim Lukiyanov, a Senior Program Manager at Azure HDInsight has taken to the Microsoft Azure Blog to announce that the Azure big data teams will hold an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit on November 17th. The AMA comes as a way for the team to reach out and learn from customers and the community as to how the service can be made better.

Overall, the session will run on Thursday, November 17th, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM PST on r/Azure. Folks from the Azure big data engineering team will be there to answer questions about products, services, and even the teams themselves. Program Managers and Developers from the Azure Data Lake, HDInsight, R Server, Data Factory and Stream Analytics teams will also be participating throughout the day. Likewise, AMA is a great way to ask literally anything as the usual places to ask questions (such StackOverflow, MSDN, and Twitter) have either character limits, or question limits.

With the Ask Me Anything, you will be able to get answers to your questions directly from the team and have natural conversation with those responsible for public Azure products and services. Of course, the team does note that they will not be able to comment on unreleased features and future plans, so please do keep this in mind.

Will you be joining the AMA session? We’d love to know, so be sure to tell us what you think by dropping us a comment below!
