Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline are the big deals this week for Xbox Live’s Deals with Gold for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners. Battlefield 4 is the most recent title in the Battlefield series by EA Dice. It features the military combat focused series’ iconic large scale first person action, with everything from massive maps, 64 player matches, and a variety of vehicles and customizable weapons. The game originally launched in 2013, and since then a host of DLC has been released. All of those expansion packs can be accessed through Battlefield 4 Premium, which also is heavily discounted for this week’s Deals with Gold.
Similarly, Battlefield Hardline and its add-on content is featured this week as well. This more recent title in the Battlefield series is geared towards quick action combat in urban settings with its own casual gameplay style and sense of humor (one of the vehicles is simply a high speed couch called ‘Murica). Both games use EA Dice’s Frostbyte Engine for incredibly detailed graphics and impressive physics, which has been used in other EA titles like the new Star Wars: Battlefront.
