Traveling around the world is a pricey proposition, but thanks to the internet you can at least get an idea of what pretty much any location looks like. That is especially handy if you are actually planning a trip to a particular place.
Now the Microsoft search engine, Bing, is expanding its 3D mapping program, and encompassing even more cities from around the globe. The Bing Maps Preview launched for Windows 8.1 back in December, with images combined from a mash-up of ground-level and air photos.
Now the software and services company adds 15 more cities to the offering, including Dresden, Germany, Murcia, Spain, San Francisco, California, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and more.
