Good news for our Indian readers, popular TV channel Colors, and news publication FirstPost, have made their apps available on Windows 8.1 today. Available for free, both apps offer enticing features.
Colors TV is quite popular in India, and runs some of the most appreciated shows such as Bigg Boss, Balika Vadhu and Comedy Nights with Kapil.

Using the app you will be able to keep a tab on all the shows and find news and more information about them. You can also check the schedules and stream the episodes from within the app.
The juggernaut news portal, FirstPost, has ported its app to Windows Store as well. FirstPost recently bought FakingNews, popular Indian news site that focused on satire and humor. “The best way to read breaking views and news from Firstpost’s exclusively digital newsroom. This Windows Tablet app is free to download and includes by-the minute news, views and analysis around news and current affairs in India and the world.”, the App description reads.
The application will let you navigate through all the sections, check comments, watch videos and images, and download the news articles to read them later.
