In the latest update, which bumps the version number to 4.2.0.0, Converge adds the ability to view videos from all news sources. The app also features performance improvements and bug fixes. On top of that, the app adds the option to view content from TechCrunch and The Next Web, two big names in the tech industry. These two names join WinBeta, WPCentral, and The Verge (who actually decided recently to kill support for mobile apps — so support for The Verge might not be a long term thing).
Fear not, if you just want to see news from WinBeta, simply uncheck the other sources. The app supports a dark and light theme, as well as Disqus comments. There is even a Live tile so you can see the latest news right on your home screen.
