Cortana likes to be helpful, and one way to help her be all she can be is to connect to other accounts. We learned via Windows Central this morning that Cortana has some new tricks up her sleeve–all you have to do is turn on Xbox Live as a connected account.
The process is simple enough. Just Head into Cortana > Notebook > Connected Accounts, and you’ll find Xbox Live as an option. Windows Insiders will see Uber along with Office 365 and LinkedIn, but everyone should see Xbox Live regardless of Windows 10 build.
Give a click, and you’ll be presented with some prompts, including an Xbox Live authentication screen.
You’ll have to allow Cortana to access your Xbox Live data.
Once you do, Cortana will start offering up Xbox Live-related data. For example, here she is giving you a countdown to Xbox One’s most important new title, Halo 5.
