Microsoft handset with RM-1062 spotted on GFXBench, could be the Lumia 1320 successor

Microsoft is long-rumored to be working on the successor of the Lumia 1320, which is expected to carry the RM-1062 model number. The alleged handset made appearance in a number of rumors, but recently, the device was spotted on GFXBench, revealing some specifications it’s expected to carry.

For those of you who can’t recall, the device with the same model number was also spotted on the AdDuplex report last month. The report revealed it’s a 5.7-inch 720p phablet with several model numbers apart from RM-1062, including RM-1063, RM-1064, RM-1065, RM-1066 and RM-1067.

Coming over to the GFXBench results, the alleged device features a 5.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, as well as a quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC with an Adreno 305 GPU and 32GB of RAM. The listed RAM is 0.38GB, but don’t worry, as per rumors, it will pack 1GB of RAM on board when it launches, and it makes sense as well. You can’t expect a successor of a smartphone to feature lower specifications.

Furthermore, the listing mentions a 12MP camera, but technically it should be 13 MP — just do a simple mathematical calculation using resolution of the image. Other features includes a 5MP front-facing camera as well as Windows Phone as its operating system.

More on this as it develops.
