Back in May of this year, Microsoft made the announcement that Halo would be coming to the PC with Halo 5 Forge. Now several months removed from the initial announcement, the game has officially gone live on the Windows Store, meaning that you can now create your own Halo maps right from your Windows 10 PC.

As noted on the App Store listing for the game, Microsoft is calling Halo 5 Forge the most robust and powerful level editor in Halo History. The FREE game accessory features Xbox Live, to help you store saved levels in the cloud and resume where you left off, as well as to help you Share custom content across both Xbox One and Windows 10. Additionally, Forge is optimized for PC and includes mouse/keyboard in both edit mode and play modes, support for up to 4K resolution for visually stunning textures, and enhanced controls. Of course, you also can play any Forge content created using Halo 5: Forge or Halo 5: Guardians, including original maps and modes originally released by 343 Industries, with up to 16 players via custom matches.

Microsoft, however, recommends the following specs for Forge on PC.
