Lumia 630

It’s been over a year since Microsoft released the Windows Phone 8.1 powered Lumia 630. The mid-range offering from the Redmond company came with its own set of pros and cons, but the thing is: it’s still a decent budget-friendly Windows Phone offering, provided you can bear with its drawbacks.
In the UK, the handset originally came with a £100 price tag off-contract, but if you’re still thinking about picking it up, you’ll be happy to know it’s now available for £49.99 off-contract from Carphone Warehouse in the UK (via Neowin). The original cost of the handset is £39.99, but you have to top it up of £10 PAYG credit. The top-up gives you 150 free minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of 4G data.
The handset comes in unlocked flavors so even after paying the extra top-up, you can use any SIM you wish to with the device. As for its biggest drawbacks, there’s no 4G LTE connectivity on board, along with 512MB of RAM which may be a less for several apps in the App Store.
If 4G is important for you, you can spend £20 extra and grab the LTE-enabled Lumia 635 from the retailer with it’s cost being £69.99 including the £20 top-up.
