Dead Island 2 to arrive on Windows PC and Xbox One in Spring of 2015Written by Manish Singh on June 10, 2014 - 08:59AM @refsrc
Deep Silver has announced the sequel of its successful titles Dead Island and last year’s Dead Island: Riptide. The game will launch in Spring 2015, the company announced at Sony’s E3 brief conference. It will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
The company says that Dead Island 2 takes the exciting elements from the previous titles of its franchise to a whole new level. The close combat and role-playing game features new weapons and enigmatic characters and locations from the iconic Golden Gate to southern California’s Venice Beach. And yes, there are zombies all over the place, as you can see in the video below.
“Several months after the events on Banoi, the United States military has put the Golden State under full quarantine. Now a restricted zone, California has become a bloody paradise for those who refuse to leave their homes and an action-packed playground for renegades who seek adventure, glory and a fresh start.” Deep Silver described.
The multiplayer game features up to eight players who can, as Deep Silver says, coexist in a truly social way. Every character brings something unique to the game, and you could customize a few things. Check out the video below.
