Last month, Microsoft aired its first ever original TV series on the Xbox entertainment console. The company released 'Every Street United' on Xbox, showcasing the craze of football from all across the globe. Perfect timing too, as the FIFA World Cup had kicked off at the time.
Now, Microsoft has released the official app for Windows 8.1. In the app, you can listen to stories and dive deeper with interactive street soccer content and more. The app is already available on Xbox One and Xbox 360, and is Microsoft's first push when it comes to original programming.
"Experience street soccer dreams becoming a reality with Every Street United. Join legendary footballers Thierry Henry and Edgar Davids as they seek to uncover 8 of the most talented and passionate street soccer players from around the world. Hear the stories of these diamonds in the rough and watch them square off in a 4v4 street game in Rio de Janeiro. Dive even deeper with interactive street soccer content and truly experience what street soccer is all about," the app description reads.
Every Street United is the first of a dozen shows -- part of the Xbox Original program and is being developed by Xbox Entertainment Studios -- that Microsoft has planned to release on Xbox. These shows will include documentaries, reality shows, drama, and comedy series. The other shows will hit the console later this year.
