Just yesterday, an image of a would-be Surface Branded Bluetooth Keyboard was released to the web. Today, the folks over at Windows Central have learned a bit more about the unreleased Surface Keyboard, thanks in part to new FCC images.
As seen above, the FCC images confirm yesterday’s leaked images and rumors that the keyboard would have magnesium colored chicklet keys to match the finish of Surface devices. Other images seem on an FCC web page also confirm that the Keyboard works with two AA batteries and Bluetooth 4.o LE technology which can supply power for up to 12 months. Additionally, the Keyboard uses the (already existing) Surface Keyboard typing technology for superior typing, and will be compatible with every Windows PC, as well as MacOS, iOS, and Android. Pricing, for the Keyboard meanwhile, has not been revealed.
A separate FCC filing for the Surface ergonomic keyboard has also been spotted, but without any images. These filings all could possibly indicate that a release is imminent (perhaps at the rumored event in New York City.)
