This months Patch Tuesday is scheduled for February 12th and will bring us eleven security updates addressing various issues, including vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer 10, as well as other issues in Windows RT and Windows 8.
For those on Windows 8, there will be two critical Internet Explorer 10 patches, as well as three important updates and one moderate update. Windows 7 will see two critical updates for both Internet Explorer 8 and Internet Explorer 9, as well as four important updates and one moderate update. Patch Tuesday also features fixes for other operating systems including Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2012. Microsoft did not reveal exactly what these updates will address but it has to do with remote code execution as well as elevation of privileges. February Patch Tuesday is scheduled for February 12, 2013.
