If you happen to be regular users of the Fhotolens and RapDialer applications on your Windows Phone 8 handset, it’s time for you to take a look at the Windows Phone Store as both of these applications have received new updates.

Not too long ago, the folks behind Fhotoroom released a new camera application known as Fhotolens that applies a number of filters and improvements to your pictures. Recently, Fhotolens received an update, bumping it to version 1.2, and comes with a few new features and enhancements on board. The latest update brings support for many new languages, including Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Dutch, Finnish, French, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Italian, Hindi, Punjabi, and Polish.

Other new features in the latest Fhotolens 1.2 includes performance improvements, bug fixes for handsets with 512MB of RAM, and more. Here’s the complete change log for the update:

  • 2x Faster Capturing
  • New Image Viewer with Rotate, Scale and Move
  • 2way URI protocol support v0.2
  • 12MB phone bug fixes for 52x, 62x, 72x phones
  • Main UI Translated to support Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Dutch, Finnish, French, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Italian, Hindi, Punjabi, and Polish.

The other application which received an update is RapDialer. “RapDialer aims at providing rapid dialing experience on Windows Phone in Metro style,” according to the app description. The update is a minor one, and brings some bug fixes for the application.

If you use these two applications, head over to the Windows Phone Store and download the applications. Fhotolens costs $1.49, but offers a users free trial to test the capabilities of the application before buying. On the other hand, RapDialer is available for free, but there’s a paid version as well that costs $2.99. There are no feature limitations between the free and paid versions of RapDialer, the paid versions is just a way to support the developer.
