According to a new report, a Russian-based OEM has plans to release what appears to be the most budget-friendly Windows Phone device in Russia dubbed as Fly Era Windows. According to the report from Russian grounds, Fly Era Windows will come with a 3,990 rubles (almost $110) price tag and will launch very soon.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the alleged handset comes with a similar set of specifications as the Lumia 530, but it comes with a slightly lower price tag. There's a 4-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, as well as a quad-core Snapdragon 200 SoC for processing power and 512MB of RAM.
On the storage side, it comes with 4GB of storage on board, expandable via a microSD card slot. Other features include 5MP camera on the back for photos and videos, as well as a 1,500 mAh battery and runs Windows Phone 8.1 as its operating system.
The handset reportedly comes with a plastic exterior with a metal finish, which makes it much better in terms of appearance when compared with the Lumia 530 -- if the above posted image is real.
The exact launch date is still unknown, and there's no word if we'll see the device land in international markets.
Thanks Alan for the tip!
