Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman in Dawn of Justice

The promotional vehicle for the upcoming blockbuster, Batman Versus Superman: Dawn of Justice, appears to be in full swing. Batman: Arkham Knight has been discounted at BestBuy, the Xbox 360 Lego Batman game was given Xbox One backwards compatibility, and a huge number of Batman-related Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles such as Injustice: Gods Among Us, Mortal Kombat vs. DCU, and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Deluxe Edition have all had their prices slashed as part of this week’s Xbox Live Deals with Gold campaign.

To further promote Batman Versus Superman: Dawn of Justice movie ahead of its March 25 premiere (and to encourage Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners to buy more digital content), Microsoft has announced that for a limited time, Xbox Live Gold members who buy certain DC-related movies, TV shows, or games will be given an $8 discount on their Batman Versus Superman: Dawn of Justice theater ticket. The deal appears to be for North American Xbox Live Gold members only.

A list of all of the movies, shows, and games has been published and it’s absolutely massive. Included in the list are shows from the classic Wonder Woman, Superboy, and Batman shows through to modern ones like Arrow, Supergirl, and The Flash. All of the classic Batman animated movies from the 90s are included such as Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub Zero as are the newer releases such as Batman: Bad Blood and Son of Batman. There really does seem to be something for every type of DC Comics fan. They even have that one season of the live action Birds of Prey show that most comic book fans have probably forgotten about.
