We’ve seen a whirlwind of Xbox One rumors swirling around the upcoming gaming convention E3 2016. Some of the more intriguing rumors involved updated Xbox One consoles, including a mini version supporting 4K video coming soon and a more advanced version supporting 4K gaming and VR coming in 2017.

Recently, video game retailer GameStop’s CEO Paul Raines gave an interview to Fox News where he might have let some news escape that could be of particular interest to Xbox One fans. Specifically, had this to say (via Gamespot):

Also in the interview, Raines said he expects there to be announcements about virtual reality and new gaming consoles at E3 in June. “We’re gonna hear about that at E3,” (Raines) said.

There’s nothing specific there, but if new gaming consoles are expected at E3, then certainly the Xbox One is included. This follows along from similar statements during a recent GameStop earning announcement.
