Good Windows 10 Mobile candidate could be released soon to Insiders

Unfortunately, last week there was no new build of Windows 10 Mobile for Windows Insiders. A candidate that had previously been hinted to be released just after the Windows10Devices event ended up crashing too often in the internal Microsoft ring. But over the weekend, Gabe Aul, Vice President of Engineering Systems for Windows and Devices group, announced there is currently a good candidate in the Microsoft ring, and we may know shortly if it is stable enough to be released to the Windows Insider fast ring.

Gabe’s announcement via Twitter was made Saturday evening, so if it fared well with the internal Microsoft ring over the weekend there is a chance it could be making its way to the Windows Insider Fast Ring before we know it.
Windows Insiders have been awaiting a new build patiently as the frequency compared to the desktop OS insider program is much slower. And not much time is left for new previews when you consider the relative infrequency of candidates being released on the Fast Ring. The official RTM build unveils on the newly announced Lumia 950 and 950XL this November, with the update to Windows 10 Mobile rolling out to older Lumia handsets starting in December.
If you want to get an idea of what to expect with the upcoming build we obtained screenshots of a new build last week with a detailing of some of the changes we might expect in the current candidate.
Stay tuned for more news as we await to see if this latest build survives the internal Microsoft test ring.
