Halo 5 Guardians Multiplayer Beta and Halo The Master Chief Collection shown off during Gamescom 2014

Gamescom 2014 is currently underway and earlier this morning, we got a taste of Halo 5 and Halo The Master Chief Collection. Microsoft has now uploaded three videos offering us a first look at the Halo 5 Guardians Multiplayer Beta, a look at the remastered Sanctuary map in Halo The Master Chief Collection, and a peek at the Halo Channel.

In the first video, embedded below, we are given the first look at the upcoming Halo 5 Guardians Multiplayer Beta. "343 Industries presents the first details of the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta available in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The beta will focus on 4 vs. 4 arena-style gameplay, giving players their first taste of the next generation of Halo multiplayer," the video description reads.

You can participate in the beta program if you purchase Halo The Master Chief Collection, and the program begins December 29th and ends January 18th. The multiplayer supports dedicated servers and runs at 60 frames per second!

We also get a quick look at the remastered Sanctuary map in the upcoming Halo The Master Chief Collection. The graphics and detail are gorgeous and this game promises to be a big hit for Halo fans.

"Sanctuary was announced as one of the re-mastered Halo 2: Anniversary maps included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Watch the action as four Halo pros battle it out in Team Slayer for the first time on the reimagined Sanctuary map," the video description reads.

Last but not least, Microsoft offered a peek at the new interactive digital network called Halo Channel. This channel offers all sorts of Halo goodness, including the ability to broadcast your gameplay, watch feeds, and much more.

"Take a sneak peek at the Halo Channel - an all-new interactive digital network that provides unprecedented, personalized access to the Halo Universe. The Halo Channel enables you to seamlessly transition between Halo games and other Halo experiences. Featuring full Twitch integration, broadcast your gameplay or watch feeds from the Halo community - from competitive multiplayer matches and campaign walkthroughs to speed runs. This is your home for Halo," the video description reads.

You will be able to unlock a variety of exclusive in-game content, and even sync your Windows 8.1 device to your Xbox One, and use it as a controller or a second screen where you can access the Halo Channel. Halo Channel can even display stats and data during matches, allowing you to monitor players in real-time.

Halo Channel will be available on Xbox One and Windows 8.1 devices beginning November 11th, 2014, with a version for Windows Phone 8.1 available shortly after.
