Halo: Spartan Assault

Microsoft’s award-winning Halo Spartan assault is going on sale at the moment on both Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 for $1.99. The game offers users a “console-like” gaming experience on the mobile as well as the tablet. For those of you who can’t recall, the deal was tweeted out by Major Nelson on Twitter as well.

“Halo: Spartan Assault brings the excitement of Halo combat to touch-based devices for the very first time. Battle your way through 30 action-packed missions against the Covenant as you explore the origin of the Spartan Ops program and Halo 4’s Spartan Commander, Sarah Palmer,” the app description reads.

It’s an amazing first-person shooting game where you play as Commander Sarah Palmer or Spartan Davis and your task it to defeat the aliens in different Halo missions. The game also comes with Xbox integration, so yes, you’re going to earn achievements as you progress in the game.

At the $1.99 price, it’s a must have game for all Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 users. Unfortunately, you have to purchase each game separately from both stores. The promotion ends on April 9th so make sure you grab the game before that date.
