Hands on with Windows 10 build 10041 (video)

Windows 10

Microsoft earlier today released a new build of Windows 10 to Windows Insiders, which includes a number of new features and changes over the last public preview build. As per usual, we’ve placed our hands all over this new build and made a quick video demonstrating its most outstanding features, so you know what you’re walking into when installing this build.

Build 10041 is pretty similar to 10036, if not identical feature wise. So everything in the video below isn’t new for those who have installed 10036. If you were still on 9926 however, then there’s a plethora of new changes which you’ll be happy to hear about, including improvements to the Start Menu, Task View and more. Give the video a watch, which is embedded below.

Microsoft says they’re aiming to release a new Windows 10 build at least once a month now, which if you ask me, is really not fast enough. However, it’s good to see Microsoft attempting to get new builds out to Insiders, as the wait between 9926 and 10041 was too long for even Microsoft.
