According to the Apple Daily report (via DigiTimes), it looks like Huawei has plans to bring MateBook back for round two. Supposedly, we’ll be seeing two new MateBook devices at the end of 2017’s first quarter and they won’t only be 2-in-1s. The source mentioned that the success in China has compelled them to create a high-end version of the MateBook with Intel’s Core i-series processors. The two devices are said to have different sizes: a 13.3 inch and a 15.6 inch. These are a bit larger than its predecessor with only a twelve-inch screen.

There still isn’t much to go on when it comes to specifications, but it’s no surprise that Huawei is pushing out a beefier version of the business focused 2-in-1. The company has had a lot of success and has even become close partners with Microsoft as seen in the rather humorous 2-in-1 comparison advertisement.

Of course, with better specifications, we can expect to shell out a bit more than the original $699 price for the cheaper MateBook. For now, we’ll have to wait and see what Huawei is planning to bring to the table before we can open our wallets.
