Earlier this year, Microsoft announced several new mobile partners that it was partnering with for its mobile operating system. At the Build conference last month, Joe Belfiore announced two more companies - Indian mobile manufacturer Micromax and a rather unknown maker from Russia, Prestigio. Today, we got some new pictures of Prestigio’s Windows Phone-powered handset. The company is reportedly calling it the MultiPhone PAP5507.
From its appearance, the phone has a minimalistic look and resembles the Nexus 5 a tad bit . On the back, the cover has a rubbery feel to it. Running the latest operating system version - Windows Phone 8.1, MultiPhone PAP5507 has a 5-inch 720p IPS display screen. Powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, the phone boasts of a gig of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It has an 8MP shooter at the back and a 2MP camera upfront. It has Dual-SIM capability.
As of now, we have no word on pricing, but expect the phone to hit local markets by July. The appearance and specifications of the phone do seem lucrative. What do you think?
