Earlier this week, a storage boost for OneDrive users was announced. In recognition of the fact that a good portion of cloud storage is used to house photos, Microsoft today announces a number of important changes that are coming to the OneDrive apps for iOS and Android.
Android users will find that the next update introduces automatic video uploading, and also that searches has been made easier thanks to the addition of a new dedicated search button. Over on the OneDrive Blog, Jason Moore -- Group Program Manager OneDrive -- explains that "we've also made updates to make OneDrive feel more like a part of your Android device, with an in-app navigation drawer that works just how you expect it to.
The iOS version of the app has not been forgotten. Camera backup now take place in the background, and upload reliability has been improved. The option to open your OneDrive files in Office Mobile or Office for iPad has also been added.
Watch out for the app updates which will be hitting the App Store and Google Player in the coming days.
