If you have a hard time following all the new game releases on Microsoft’s Xbox One, the folks over at Xbox Wire have started a new weekly series of posts called “Next week on Xbox” to highlight the most important new titles to enjoy on your console. With several blockbuster releases, this week is expected to be particularly exciting for Xbox One owners. Let’s dive into the details below.

New AAA games

Gears of War 4 – Tuesday, October 11

Gears of War 4, the critically-acclaimed third person shooter developed by The Coalition for both the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs, will become available worldwide tomorrow, October 11 (those of you who bought the game’s Ultimate Edition have been able to enjoy early access since October 7). The latest Gears opus opens a new story arc which takes 25 years after the end of the previous trilogy, and new hero JD Fenix (Marcus’ son) and his friends will embark on a new action-packed adventure featuring more diverse environments, deadly enemies and more. If you haven’t done it yet, we invite you to read our full review over here.

Battlefield 1 – Thursday, October 13 (With EA Access)

EA Access subscribers will be able to try the latest first person shooter from EA’s Dice Studios starting October 13 (others will have to wait for the worldwide release of the game on October 21). In some sorts, Battlefield 1 is a throwback to the origins of the franchise as the game is set during World War 1. Following the game’s open beta back in August, we wrote that the game could be one of the best Battlefield games yet.

WWE 2K17 – Tuesday, October 11

The professional wrestling video game and follow up to WWE 2K16 will be released on the same day than Gears of War 4. “WWE 2K17 features stunning graphics, ultra-authentic gameplay and a massive roster of WWE and NXT’s popular Superstars and Legends,” shared the Xbox team.

Those of you who purchased the game’s Season Pass will get the “Blood Ties” DLC, a “Lara’s Nightmare” mode, a new online Co-Op Endurance mode and an “Ultimate Survivor” difficulty.
