Lenovo releases the Windows 10 powered Yoga 700, starts at $699

This time of year has been hectic for those who are looking for those who are looking to buy a new laptop. On top of the clear front-runners in the Surface Book and the Surface Pro 4, companies like Lenovo have been putting out plenty of other options of their own. Earlier this month Lenovo unveiled the Yoga 900, a fairly strong laptop going for either $1,199 or $1,549, depending on which model you decide on picking up.
If you liked what Lenovo had to show off in the Yoga 900 but aren’t prepared to drop that amount of money on a laptop, the company has recently released an option that may be more to your liking. Available right now for purchase is the Yoga 700, a hybrid laptop coming in an 11″ and a 14″ version. They’re significantly more affordable than their counterpart in the Yoga 900, yet they’re still relatively powerful PC’s in their own right.
Both laptops promise 7 hours of battery life, have a 1080p IPS display, can be fit with up to 8GB of RAM and offer up to 256GB in solid state storage. The biggest differences in the laptops come from their graphics cards and processors, which vary greatly. The 14-inch version of the Yoga 700 can be fit with either an i5 or an i7 processor, and can also be given an NVIDIA GeForce 940M graphics card – more than enough to run anything you may need to on a laptop. The 11″ version is a bit weaker, only able to fit an Intel Core m5-6Y54 and not fitting a powerful graphics card of any kind.
