LogMeIn releases join.me app for Windows 10 PC

LogMeIn, a very big communication and network company, just released a new app for Windows 10 PCs. The famous leaker, WalkingCat, shared this app on his Twitter, with a later tweet claiming that the app seems to be a part of Project Centennial which is a tool used for deploying legacy desktop applications on the Windows Store, however, no official statement claiming this has been released.

WalkingCat tweeted out that the app is indeed Centennial shortly after sharing the app itself:

Join.me is only available for 64-bit powered PCs as of now. The app has a unique design and looks like a mixture of regular legacy apps and the new, modern, UWP apps. When you open the app up for the first time, you are greeted by this screen:

After creating a new account you proceed to this screen:

After clicking around we managed to get into the main screen which, again, looks like this:

The store page includes this short, yet explaining description:

When you start your join.me meeting, simply press the “Broadcast” button and you’re ready to go. It’s that simple. If you’re a join.me PRO user, you can share just a single window instead of your whole screen. Simply hand over the presenter role to any of your participants so they can broadcast their screen with full control. With annotation your whole team can mark up, highlight and even use laser pointers to highlight stuff right in your meeting to make a point, make a difference, and make progress.

The remote support app, join.me, can be downloaded from the link below and you will have 14 days of free trial to decide if you want to continue using the product.
