Last month, we got our first glimpse at what could be the upcoming Nokia Lumia 830, codenamed Tesla. The device is expected to be a mid-range offering from Microsoft, carrying a flagship camera with PureView technology, apparently headed to AT&T in the US. Recently, the folks at TK Tech News revealed the specifications the handset will bring on the table. Additionally, they also mentioned it is a Verizon variant, so we know now that it will not only land on AT&T but Verizon too.
As per the report, the alleged Nokia Lumia 830 rocks a 4.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels resolution, as well as a 20.1MP camera with PureView technology and a microSD card slot for expandable storage. As far as the operating system is concerned, the purported device will ship with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1.
They also posted a video of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 830, but it's a looks a little fishy -- the device in the video could be any Windows Phone device. Surprisingly, the folks at TK Tech News mentioned the source has sent the device to them, and they'll be doing a hands-on review once they receive it.
It remains to be seen how much truth lies in this, but let's just take this with a grain of salt. Let's just wait and see if the folks at TK Tech News are correct or not -- the infamous @evleaks praised them when he was retiring so let's just give them some credit. Microsoft is also holding an event next month, and we're hoping they'll have surprises for the Windows Phone fans out in the wild.
