It's been a while since I began using Magnify BETA as my RSS reader on my Windows Phone handset. The reason why I like the app is that the developer keeps on pushing updates at regular intervals, introducing new features and enhancements to improve its overall experience. Recently, Magnify BETA received another update, bumping it to version 220.127.116.11, which introduces a number of new features and enhancements.
Along with the usual bug fixes, the latest update brings transparent live tiles for those running the latest Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview, as well as the ability to login using Feedly so that you don't have to add all your feeds manually, and sync/backup your existing feeds. In addition, the update brings a reorganized Settings page, making it simpler and easier to use.
Here's a complete list of features and enhancements the latest update comes with:
- Added optional sync and backup with Feedly.
- Transparent tiles for WP 8.1
- Better support for adding wide range of custom feeds.
- Reorganized Settings page.
- Misc bug fixes.
If you're a regular user of Magnify Beta, head over to the Windows Phone Store and grab the update.
