Giant Xbox One console in Canada

First, it was the massive Surface 2 device that was erected in London last week. Now, it seems that another large Microsoft device has made its appearance, this time in Vancouver Canada.

So what is this massive box that resembles the upcoming Xbox One and why is it there? According to a report, Xbox Live gamers can head over to a special Xbox One webpage where you can “pledge” your gamertag. Once enough pledges are received, the massive Xbox One will “unlock.”

“Pledge with your gamertag to help power the Xbox One in Canada! Every Gamertag we receive will contribute to unlocking incredible experiences across the country and everyone who enters will be eligible for some amazing prizes*. The sooner you pledge, the more chances you’ll have to win. Spread the word!” Microsoft states. Prizes currently include an Xbox One entertainment console and an assortment of Xbox One games.

For those of you in Vancouver, you can head over to 1001 Seymour St, Vancouver BC, V6B, Canada and pledge your gamertag in person. Or you can head over to Microsoft’s website to pledge your gamertag. If you are in the area, let us know what the massive Xbox One structure looks like in person. Perhaps the perfect time for a “selfie” with the massive Xbox right behind you!

Thanks for the tip, Anon!
