May Patch Tuesday to fix 23 security holes, affects Microsoft Office and Windows

This months Patch Tuesday is scheduled for May 8th and will bring us seven bulletins that address 23 vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office, Windows, Silverlight and the .NET framework which could allow an attacker to remotely compromise an infected computer if left unpatched.

Of the seven bulletins, three are rated critical and affect Microsoft Office, Windows, Silverlight and the .NET framework. The other four are rated important and deal with remote code execution in Windows XP, Vista, 7, Server 2003, and Server 2008. The vulnerabilities affecting Office will also see an update for OSX available via Microsoft AutoUpdate for Mac. May Patch Tuesday will take place May 8th.
