Microsoft announces dates for smaller MVP Summit

Microsoft has just announced the dates for the 2016 MVP Global Summit. The event will kick off on November 7th and will run all the way to November 10th at Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond, Washington.

Earlier this year Microsoft announced that it was trimming the MVP program to make it more developer and IT focused, moving consumer focused categories like Xbox, ID@XBox, Bing Ads and Windows and Devices out of the program and supported directly by the product teams.

A website for the event is set to launch in early August so MVPs can get the chance to see what each session at the event has to offer. Registration, meanwhile, is set to open up at the end of August. At the event, thousands of MVP’s and regional directors from around the world are expected to come together and sit down for conversations with hundreds of Microsoft engineers and executives.

For more information on the summit, you can head over to this official Microsoft Website. As more information on the summit approaches, though, we will definitely be here to report it. For the time being, be sure to connect with us on social media and stay tuned to us here at WinBeta.
