Xamarin and Microsoft are going to hold a special event for iOS & OS X developers after the WWDC 2016 State of the Union on the 13th of June in San Francisco.

The event is going to be completely open, even to developers not attending WWDC, and food and drinks will be provided. Microsoft and Xamarin will also be giving away Apple Watch Sports smartwatches and Xbox One consoles every hour. It appears Microsoft will literally be wining and dining developers to encourage them to develop more apps for their Windows 10 devices.

Xamarin is a software development company that is actually owned by Microsoft. The company is well versed in app development and has created several tools to help developers make apps for iOS, Android, and Windows devices.

Those wishing to attend the event can RSVP on the official website and for more news on Microsoft and iOS news, make sure to check out our iOS news hub here.
