Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Bob Stutz, took to the company blog today to announce Microsoft’s acquisition of a long-time partner, Web portal and application lifecycle management solutions provider Adxstudio Inc.
According to the post, Microsoft will acquire “key product and technology assets” of Adxstudio Inc, and this will translate into features that customers can “immediately take advantage of.” Adxstudio Web portals are built natively on Microsoft’s Dynamics CRM and can also be used with its Parature Service. The acquisition also delivers pre-built engagement solutions both on-premises and in the cloud, and will enable independent software vendors (ISVs) to “build their own CRM Web engagement solutions on Microsoft technologies.”
The acquisition is said to be “another step” towards fulfilling Microsoft’s commitment to “delivering intelligent customer engagement solutions.”
