Remember the time long ago when Microsoft’s Bing search engine was pushed as a “decision engine?” Well that time has come to a close as of today. Microsoft has launched a new advertisement campaign for its Bing search engine that simply states, “Bing is for doing.”
In the first ad (seen below), Microsoft showcases Kevin Pearce who was involved in a snowboarding accident which left him with a traumatic brain injury. Utilizing Bing, Pearce was able to persevere after the accident.
“These videos are part of a new campaign for Bing, highlighting people doing interesting things. Bing has traditionally highlighted the decisions people make and now, with this new campaign, Bing will illustrate how decisions enable people to go beyond searching to doing,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.
As Microsoft so enthusiastically states, Bing is for people who do. “So whether you’re on your PC or on your phone, Bing has features designed not just to connect you to the information you are looking for, but also to help you get things done right on Bing.com.”
