Bing Apps

With the recent release of Office 2013 and Office 365, Microsoft has also made available Bing Apps for Office. These apps contain add-ons such as Bing Maps for Office, Bing Finance (Beta) for Office, Bing News Search for Office, Bing Dictionary for Office, and Bing Image Search for Office.

“Office 365 Home Premium is now available to everyone as a subscription service, giving busy people and families new ways to get more done on the go. Similar to how Bing is powering apps on Windows 8, Windows Phone and Xbox ,we created the Bing Apps for Office, which are free Bing-powered apps that can be used with the new Office 365 Home Premium,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post. These apps are cool and very useful. For example, the Bing News Search for Office lets you search for news stories and related videos from within a Word document. The Bing Dictionary app is also very useful if you are typing an article and need to double check a definition or spelling. These apps are free and available for download by heading over to the source link below.
