Microsoft fixes their new Bing Chrome extension which was previously unaccessible

Earlier this month we covered an extension which Microsoft’s Bing team released, but unfortunately it didn’t work after the first time you used it. Now Microsoft has fixed the bug causing this issue and the extension can be downloaded and installed. The aim of the new Bing extension is to convert the new tab page in Chrome to the Bing.com homepage. Users who like the Bing image of the day and use Bing search would appreciate this extension.

Windows Phone users can also benefit from this extension because Cortana suggestions appear at the bottom of the Bing homepage making it easier to keep on top of relevant news and information. The main drawback to this extension, if you are used to the frequent sites which are typically present on the new tab page, is that the Bing extension replaces that functionality with the standard Bing.com homepage.
