Microsoft Garage project Snap to Pin allows select Android users to save web pages offline

Snap to Pin on Google Play

Another app has been released to add to the collection of Microsoft Garage projects. This one is called Snap to Pin, currently only available for Android.
The app lets’ users save articles from web pages, or news feeds into OneNote for offline reading later. This approach is something quite similar to what the Pocket app is doing―enabling users to quickly save online articles for offline reading later. And because the articles are saved in OneNote, it means users can scribble on it and share it with friends.
The app isn’t available everywhere yet―in fact, it isn’t even available anywhere except New Zealand. But it could roll out to other countries over the next few months. We’re also not sure whether the app will be available for iOS and Windows Phone devices yet.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with what Microsoft Garage is it’s a project lab where Microsoft employees can spend time working on their experimental projects.
It’s a great initiative, both Microsoft Garage and the some of the apps created by it. Some real handy apps can come of it, and may change how we do certain things in our everyday lives.
