It’s only been a couple of days since our last launch rumours for the Windows 8 Release Preview, but that hasn’t stopped them from rolling in. Today, another source is claiming that Microsoft is planning to launch the Windows 8 Release Preview on June 1st 2012, which is exactly 11 days from now.

According to WinSuperSite, Microsoft are allegedly planning to release the Windows 8 Release Preview to the public on June 1st 2012. This comes right in line with Microsoft’s schedule, as they wanted to launch the Release Preview in the first week of June.

The blog also says that the final release of Windows 8 is expected in October 2012, which has been been said by many rumours in the past. Microsoft may be ahead of schedule with Windows 8, since the Release Preview has been ready since the 18th of May. This puts the Release Preview ahead of schedule of that the Consumer Preview was.

Microsoft is gearing up for the final Windows 8 public preview, the wheels are already in motion at the company for the final release, and are probably ready to implement some final features and fixes. The Release Preview will be the last public build we get to see before the official launch of the software, so we expect to see good things from the Microsoft over the coming weeks.
