Microsoft has introduced an ultra-affordable Nokia 105 and Nokia 105 Dual SIM handset. It’s the successor to the popular Nokia 105 released earlier this year in February, and it’s surprising to see that Microsoft didn’t change the name of the handset and decided to go with the same Nokia 105 moniker. Usually, the company do change the numbers of the model at least when a new variant is launch, but it seems the case is different here.
Similar to its predecessor, its a feature phone for those who are on a very tight budget, or for people looking for a spare phone for traveling or any other purpose. The handset features a BL-5CB 800mAh replaceable battery, which the company claims can provide users with a 35 days standby time. The device features a 1.45 LCD Transmissive display and runs Series 30+ operating system found in feature phones. There’s an LED flashlight on the top of the handset which can come in quite handy at several occasions.
The handset will hit retail in select markets across the globe for $20 in three color options: cyan, black and white.
