Microsoft to livestream next-gen Xbox reveal on May 21st via Spike TV, Xbox LIVE and Xbox.com

May 21st is almost upon us and we are expecting to see/hear about the next generation Xbox console, codenamed Durango. Microsoft has just revealed that the event will be live streamed via a few sources for everyone to see.

"On Tuesday May 21st, we’ll mark the beginning of a new generation of games, TV and entertainment. On that day, we’ll be holding a special press event on the Xbox campus and we invite you to join us via the live global stream that will be available on Xbox LIVE and Xbox.com. If you are in the US or Canada, you can also watch the broadcast on Spike TV," Microsoft's Larry Hryb stated in an official blog post.

The live-stream will take place on May 21st at 1PM Eastern Time, 10AM Pacific Time. Microsoft will reveal the next-gen Xbox during this event held at the Microsoft Campus in redmond. Microsoft will eventually showcase the full lineup of games as well as the console during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June of 2013.

Rumors have been running wild on exactly what Microsoft will name this new device. According to IBTimes, Xbox Infinity is the name of Microsoft's upcoming Xbox console, codename Durango. Citing sources related to Xbox development, development kits for Xbox Infinity are already in the hands of studios. What could the name be?
